Based on the Italian island of Sicily,  Canapar’s mission is the development and optimization of natural & organic farming of cannabis, along with the processing of its derivatives and extraction of CBD oil.

 

In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture of  the University of Catania, Canapar helps growers improve the qualitative and quantitative farming of cannabis.

Researcher and teaching at the Department of Agriculture of the University of Catania with over 50 scientific publications and leading expert in the crop physiology of cannabis.

PhD in Chemical Science with several scientific publications. Extended expertise in organic extractions, creating and managing the laboratory and production plant.

OLIVIER DUFOURMANTELLE

Olivier was previously the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Continuous Improvement and Strategic Expansion for Canopy Growth. Prior to joining Canopy Growth, Olivier worked in various leadership and consulting roles in Asia, Europe, and North America at Michelin Tires and McKinsey & Company. Olivier received a degree in Electrical Engineering at McGill University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

CNDCEC Chartered Accountant, MSE Registered Auditor in Italy and ICAEW Chartered Accountant in London, with expertise in guiding organizational growth through robust financial strategies and internal controls and processes, offering 25 years’ experience within for-profit and non-profit organizations.

MARCELLO SCARCELLA

Head Agronomist

 

An agronomist who worked for CREA (Research Center for Industrial Crops) dealing with experimental operations in the field of agronomic techniques, of herbaceous and arboreal crop systems; introduction of alternative species in Mediterranean environments. Expert in the supply chain for the extraction of active ingredients from industrial hemp.
